Project Overview:

JS-Houses developed and delivered a complete modular site camp for the Bin County Gezhouba Non-Ferrous Metals Project, providing an integrated solution for on-site office operations, worker accommodation and staff dining. The project was designed to meet the concentrated supporting needs of the construction site while maintaining an efficient construction schedule.

For this project, we adopted our standard box-type modular building system, with each module measuring 6055mm × 2990mm × 2900mm and incorporating a 100mm insulation layer. The 97 modules were organized into three main functional areas: office buildings, dormitories and a staff dining facility. This combination allowed the project camp to provide essential facilities within one coordinated modular layout.

We designed the modular units to meet the practical requirements of different areas within the camp. The office modules could accommodate daily project management, meetings, reception and document storage, while the dormitory modules provided accommodation for project personnel. The dining modules were arranged to support daily meal preparation and dining, creating a complete living and working environment for the project team.

Considering the local climate conditions and the need for year-round use, we used a 100mm insulation system together with modular wall, roof and floor structures designed for thermal insulation, heat protection, waterproofing and sealing. This helped improve indoor comfort during both cold winters and warmer seasons.

The project followed our factory prefabrication + on-site assembly construction method. Major structural and enclosure components were prepared in the factory before transportation to the site, where the modules were mainly installed through lifting and assembly. This reduced on-site wet construction work and helped limit construction waste while improving installation efficiency.

The entire project was completed within just 20 days, including the configuration and installation of all 97 modular units. The concentrated use of standardized modules enabled efficient transportation, installation and site organization, while also providing flexibility for future dismantling, relocation and reuse.

Through this project, JS-Houses provided a practical and efficient modular camp solution integrating office, accommodation and dining functions. The project demonstrates how standardized modular buildings can support industrial projects with short construction schedules while offering insulation performance, flexible layout and future reuse.
